Natural Home Cleaning Products: Laundry Edition

Welcome back to my journey of natural home cleaning products. This is my final post in the segment. In this one, I will share my recipes on natural home cleaning products: laundry edition. I hope you have enjoyed this journey with me of better, and cheaper living. This has been a fun adventure for me and is also a safer option for my kids. Most of the cleaning products I have listed are completely safe for children.

Washing Soda

  • 1 cup baking soda

Cover a sheet pan with parchment paper. Then, spread 1 cup of baking soda over it. Place the pan in the oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 15 minutes. Give it a gentle stir and bake for an additional 15 minutes. Remove the sheet pan from the oven and let it cool.

Stain Remover

  • 1 tbsp dish soap
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp hydrogen peroxide

Mix the ingredients together and apply directly to the stain with a toothbrush.

Powder Laundry Detergent

  • 1 cup Fels naphtha
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1 cup borax
  • 1 cup washing soda

Grate the soap and mix all of the ingredients together. Add 2 tbsp of powder laundry detergent per load of laundry.

Liquid Laundry Detergent
